November 1 - Historic Woodlawn Cemetery Tour at 5th & Jefferson. The cemetery will be toured and it’s history discovered. Tours from 5:00p.m.- 8:00p.m. with guides every 1/2 hour. $6 adults, $4 children. Members free. To make reservations call (217) 224-6873.

November 10 & 11 - The Society of Model Engineers (the "Train Club") will hold an open house from 12 to 5p.m. at the Good Samaritan Home 2130 Harrison in Quincy. The public is invited and admission is free.

November 17 - Dance Party 2007 from 7 - 10 p.m. at the Emerson Community Center 1310 Washington St, Nancy West and Colleagues will be playing. Enjoy an evening of dancing to the Big Band sounds. $10.00 per person.

November 17 & 18 - Quincy Service League Annual Holiday Gift Show & Sale. This annual event features 100 booths of great Christmas gifts, holiday decorations, and home décor. Held at Quincy Senior High, 33rd & Maine. Show hours are 10am - 5pm on Saturday & 10am - 4pm on Sunday. Tickets $2 in advance & $3 at the door. For more information 223-1000.

November 22 - January 1 - Avenue of Lights, Two-mile long animated light festival has over 1 million lights and 40 displays. Held in Wavering-Moorman Park in Quincy. $7 per car, 6:00p.m.-9:30p.m. Call 242-3311 or 224-1190 after 5p.m.

November 22 - Quincy Family YMCA Turkey Run/Walk/Swim, one-mile and 5K leisure walk, the 5K and 10K run, or swim laps. 8:30am registration. $15, children 12 and under are free. call 222-9622

November 28 - Dec 3: A Venetian Holiday will be the theme of this year's Symphony of Trees to be held at the Ambiance. For information regarding sponsorship, designing and volunteer opportunities call the Quincy Symphony Orchestra Association office at 222-2856.
